The Mercedes G-Class Headquarters in Graz embodies the rugged durability and off-road excellence synonymous with the G-Class. It reflects Graz's role as the engineering and production hub for the G-Class.

Architecture

Green Integration: Green roofs and terraces emphasize the G-Class's connection to nature while promoting sustainability.

  1. Innovation Display: Transparent elements highlight research activities while maintaining privacy, offering visitors a glimpse of the innovation process.

  2. Landscaping: Rugged landscaping around the site mirrors the off-road spirit of the G-Class.

  3. Exhibition Space: A dedicated area showcases the G-Class's history, drawing automotive enthusiasts and the public.

Funstions

Workshop

A split-level construction integrates a gallery-level workspace for 45 employees, allowing privacy while maintaining visibility of the workshop below.

Parking Garage

Located above the workshop, the split-level parking facility maximizes space efficiency and functionality.

Office Building

Public-facing areas, including a café, seminar rooms, and event spaces, occupy the ground floor. Internal offices, secured with controlled access, feature a rooftop outdoor area for employee use.
